Tomb Raider II App Reviews

Please add Tomb Raider 3 and 4 The Last Revelation. Those two were the best in the series. The controls work Beautiful on TR2. I completed the whole game on iOS with no issues with the controls. Thank You Square Enix.

Was going great until about 3/4 of the way through level 10, then it began to not save, crash and actually erase other saved slots. Fix that issue and it would be a fun time killer!

The controls are absolutely horrible. You are unable to beat the clock, go through passages on time, and you make movements quickly. Need a new controller that is easier to use.

If you loved playing Tomb Raider 2 back in the day then you will love this version! Controls take some time to get used too, but its well worth it. Ppl are complaining about that but they just havent put the time in. Its a touch screen...theres only so much they can do to over come not having a controller. TR2 was my fav and Im loving going thru it again.

I am highly impressed and satisfied! I bought Tomb Raider II for the iPad and its... Its... HD!!! *tears of joy* its so beautiful! The creators did an amazing job on remaking the game in HD. I still cant believe what Im seeing, its so awesome! My classic all time favorite game.

I would be more than happy to give this app more stars if there would be an update which stopped the app from crashing. I am unable to play this game and have reinstalled and still no luck. I am a Tomb Raider fan and dont mind waiting but will be very disappointed if I cannot play this game!

THIS NEW UPDATE JUST KEEPS CRASHING MY GAME I start In the Great Wall then when i go to Venice it just crashes before it used to work perfectly PLZ FIX THIS PROBLEM THEN I WILL GIVE A 5 star rating

Edit: please port over Tomb Raider 3 and Revelations! Take all my money! Overall really nice, just like the version I had on PC back in the day! It also includes TRII: Gold, the bonus levels, which is nice. The controls take a little getting used to and could have been done better for mobile, and the menus are really weird (they seem to use the accelerometer to move through the items), which can be really annoying when you accidentally save or load when you didnt mean to. But if you are careful about it wont be a problem. Overall really nice, very reasonably priced for what you get. Im looking forward to TRIII, that one was my favorite!

I am thrilled that its Tomb Raider II in all its glory. However, the game gets buggy around the Diving Area and 40 Fathoms, and it loses some or even all of your saves. I now have to start from the beginning, and that is quite frustrating. Please update and correct this.

Beyond frustrated here....battled my way to the hideaway despite the crappy controls, tried to load my game and it says youve discovered the secret top of Laras house. Which happens to be a black screen. My game is gone !!!!

I played TR1 on my iPad with no issues. The controls were fine once you get use to them, so I would give that game a 5 star rating. TR2 is another matter. The controls are fine, but when you loose your saved games it is really frustrating. I did get an answer from the developer when I contacted them, but their remedy was to reload the game and start over. That did not fix the saving issue. It is too bad TR2 is a fun game on the pc, but lost on the iPad.

Please add support for wireless Apple keyboard, this will allow the game to be controlled with the keyboard like it used to be able to in the original game. I was rather disappointed when I found out that this didnt work. When the game detects the wireless keyboard, it should then remove the on screen controls. This was the most logical thing to do!

The game is great, thats not the problem. The problem is a in game glitch for TR2 where every time I try to manually save game it glitches out and loads a black screen showing the controls and a flashing health bar and it says Laras home. This forces me to restart the game. It was not doing this before plz send update for game. Thank you.

This isnt a New game people! This game was first Played On A Ps2 and I own all of them, its supposed to be Old graphics, they didnt want to change anything because the People who owned It On a Ps Love It For What it is, like my dad used to play it a lot when I was a kid and then he let me try it when I was 7 and so its a old game but if youve had it for a long time and played it a Bunch Its not hard to use the controls, you get used to it!

The game is fun and the controls arent that horrible as some would say. Its a perfect conversion of the original ps game for the iOS platform. But unfortunately Ive become the latest victim of having my saved game deleted.. Can you please fix this? Ill have to play again from the beginning which I dont mind, but I dont see the point in starting a new game until this is fixed.

This game worked fine for a while, but now theres a weird bug that when you load a game you start off in a pitch black room and you are dead. I got pretty far in the game but then all my progress was lost. Please fix.

PLEASE make a Tomb Raider 3 IOS version of this game! Ive nearly beaten 2 and I already beat 1. Plus it brings me back.

What would normally take seconds to do, takes forever on the iPhone/iPad. Its extremely frustrating. Fix this, please!

Its great having the classic Tomb Raider on my phone to kill time. I love it. The controls however is something Im still trying to get the hang of. Its actually rather irritating to me but Ive read it takes time to get the hang of it. Also I dont know if maybe its just me or if its supposed to be this way but I can only hear the sound with headphones...

I love this game. Please bring it to the AppleTV. Or at lease make it so we can use a controller like the nimbus with it.
